Many taxpaying readers like myself will no doubt be deeply troubled at how our hard earned money is spent in the pursuit of "national security." Due to the nature of the subject, Jacobsen has to sometimes resort to speculation that, despite its weirdness, rings of plausibility. This is a book Special Agent Fox Mulder would love.
